The clock keeps excellent time and is mostly very easy to read day or night. There is a slight drawback with the date information as it is smaller in size than the other and not so easy to read from a distance. It would be easy for the manufaturer to slightly reduced the size of the other information so that the date info could be increased in size.

This little item is awesome for my home, I am always asking what time it is so we can watch certain tv programs. No TV has the time on them and our only clock was on the microwave. This clock automatically dims and brightens with the hours, has the date in case you need to know Uncle Joes birthday with big lettering so you don’t have to squint to see and fits right below our TV so I never have to guess again. This clock was not exactly intuitive to set up, but I got it done. It is a godsend for my mother, who is in assisted living. As well as the time, it tells her what day of the week it is and the date and if it is morning, afternoon, or night. This will really be useful for her in the winter when she would awaken from sleeping and if it was 5:00 and dark, she wouldn't know if it was morning or afternoon. Now she will.
