I am gutting my mom’s house and renovating it. It’s about two hours away, so I cannot be there and I need to be able to monitor the construction workers as I’ve been ripped off before. I needed an affordable, reliable way to track hours—this NGTeco Time Clock (TC4) has been a game changer. When I’m done using it in that way, I’ll be using it for other things like for my kid. I can think of many other ways to use this item actually. Setup was super simple. It connected to our 2.4G WiFi right away, and the instructions were clear enough that I had it up and running in about 15 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it recognized fingerprints. The construction workers definitely are not tech savvy and they had no problem using it. The app and cloud-based software are where this really shines. I can check attendance and hours from my phone, which is so convenient. I also love that I can customize rules—like setting up grace periods and break times—right from the remote software. (i’m not using those options at the moment but I just like to know I have the ability to do that if I choose. The fingerprint scanner is pretty accurate. Every once in a while, someone has to scan twice, but nothing major. Reporting features are straightforward and made payment a lot smoother this month. A few things could be better: The PC software feels a bit outdated, like it could use a facelift. The app is not that great. I can’t get some options to work. Remote control works, but takes some time to figure out. Not hard, just not super intuitive at first. All in all, great value for the price. I mostly love this device, but i had fo remove a star because no matter what i input, change, or do, the time will not register to my location. Even though i entered my exact location in the device settings in the app. This is quite frustrating to me. The time sheet function is also taking me some getting used to. I expected there fo be a database for me to find all entries. Otherwise i have to click a specific date to see the entries for that day. Maybe this exists and i just havent found it. I'm still learning how to use the app, as its UI is pretty confusing and i am extremely tech savvy. Nonetheless, i do like that it comes with an app so i don't have to purchase external storage to access logs, like my other device.

This modern time punch clock is perfect for small business. Easy to use and super quick for employees to clock in. This eliminates the chance for employees to clock in for coworker as fingerprint is needed. Easy to get info from the app. You can customize breaks etc. This was super easy to set up. There are no monthly fees which is great.
